Celebrate & Rejuvenate: Day of the Dead – Colour, Culture & Creativity With Joanne Bingham
Day of the Dead, called Día de Muertos in Spanish, is a Mexican holiday that is celebrated from October 31 through November 2 of each year. On the Day of the Dead, the boundaries between life and death begin to blur as men, women and children of all ages honour the bonds between themselves and their loved ones who have passed away.
The holiday has spread rapidly in the past decade from Mexico to America, Europe, Australia and beyond.Celebrate life, colour, and creative expression in this joyful workshop inspired by Mexico’s vibrant Day of the Dead tradition.
Hosted wiith Award Winning Artist Joanne Bingham you will paint colourful meaningful skulls art in watercolour decorated with flowers and butterflies as symbols of memory, love and renewal.
You’ll leave with a symbolic artwork honouring life, love, and your own creative ritual to celebrate renewal.
