In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to create textured collograph plates using drawn and real botanical elements, then transfer your images to paper—no mirror image required.
Maryke is a wonderful teacher this workshop promises to be a great experience.
Guided step-by-step, you’ll create two collograph plates and a small edition of prints for each.
You’ll also learn how to:
Build texture with thin, collaged materials
Cut into the plate to create tones
Add colour with sponges for painterly effects
Take home a unique set of vibrant, botanical-inspired prints
