Join us for a relaxing, uplifting and hands-on Introduction to Drawing workshop with award-winning artist Joanne Bingham. This session focuses on building strong drawing foundations through still life, offering a supportive and inspiring experience for absolute beginners as well as more experienced artists wanting to refine their skills.

This is the first in a two-part drawing series, focused on developing essential drawing skills through careful observation and traditional techniques. The series begins with pencil and graphite, then gently expands into mixed media in the second workshop. Each workshop can be taken on its own or together as a natural progression.

Working from a still life fruit bowl, participants will build confidence with line, tone, and form while creating a finished artwork to take home.

Held at the lovely historical Cominos House in Cairns, surrounded by nature, this welcoming space provides the perfect setting to slow down, focus, and create.
